Ariba plans to integrate its cloud solution, the Ariba Commerce Cloud, with IBM LotusLive to help buyers and sellers communicate and share information more fluidly and effectively, leading to faster, more confident business decisions for organizations of all sizes.
IBM announced today a cloud computing agreement with Ariba to help fuel better commerce with an "e-Harmony-type" matching service. With the Ariba Commerce Cloud integrated with IBM LotusLive, business-to-business buyers and sellers are matched using state-of-the-art collaboration and social networking technology. Buyers and sellers of goods and services will be able to communicate and share information more fluidly and effectively -- leading to faster, more confident business decisions.
