Gartner Predicts Top Ten Strategic Technologies for 2011, #LS11, #LotusKnows

A wee bit of validation is always good for the soul. I spend more than average amount of talking about using collaboration and social media to advance business goals.  An e-mail went around (a couple times actually) yesterday highlighting what Gartner considers strategic for 2011 and beyond.  I found it excellent reading.  Not surprisingly, they talk about the importance of new forms of communications and collaboration both inside and beyond the traditional enterprise.  The technologies from last years predictions making this years list:
