Morning everyone! It's been a couple days since the big event and I'm truly humbled at the response I've had. I ended-up in the Top Eight fund raisers of the 265 registered participants. There were bagpippers, there was a couple beers (just a couple) and there were a ton of bald folks at the Lions Field House in Romeo. Not even raw day like Saturday could keep the people away. All together, the shavees of Romeo raised in excess of $125,000.00 for curing childhood cancers. That's totally amazing to me.

Finally, as promised, the youtube version. My daughter Olivia shot this mess.
We had many young cancer survivors on hand, as well as, some young children still fighting their battle. To see these children with big smiles on their faces through-out the day was truly priceless. One young boy, embarrassed to remove his hat because of his chemo treatments, proudly ripped his hat off as people began to shave. Check out all the kids that shaved their heads for their friends with cancer. It just goes to show what a bunch of people all doing a little can accomplish.
This was a great event and, quite honestly, I haven't felt this good about anything in a long time. Again, thanks to everyone that donated. Thanks to everyone that braved the elements to cheer me on.
