This site is dedicated to those of us working in the Great Lakes, overcoming the business climate and Doing More With Less. You know things are bad. You know budgets are being reduced. You also know that when the funding (and often the people) go away, we still have get the work done. I'm going to dedicate this site to you, my colleagues, customers and associates.
My name is Brian O'Curran. My business is assisting companies Doing More With Less.
I'm in the business of empowering people to be more effective, responsive and innovative in the context of work they do every day. . I assist my customers with enabling technology to achieve their business goals. Our technology provides effective solutions to drive innovation through collaboration of both internal and external communities. Together they help customers drive profit through revenue growth even in the face of diminishing markets and economies. The people left simply must become more productive to survive. The best way to increase productivity is through the use of tools - specifically collaborative tools.
Collaboration solutions improve the impact of work activity, and prevents wasted energy and expense caused by inflexible systems. It promotes responsiveness, making it easier to interact with people within and across organizations. It make it possible to share insights and expertise throughout the business - outside the in-box.
The enabling technologies to achieve these results are grouped in the following categories:
Application development and mashups
Dashboards and business solutions
E-mail, calendaring and collaborative applications
Instant messaging and Web conferencing
Mobile and wireless
Team collaboration, content management and e-forms
Software for small & medium business
Solutions for Specific Industries
Aside the technologies above, I'm excited to be able to share industry specific success stories as well. Some of the industries include:
State and Local Government
K-12 and Higher Education
"Yeah, OK Brian, why should I care?"
As a business owner or a business professional you only should care about a couple things, such as:
1. Increased Revenues, adding to the top line
2. Decreased Expenses and
3. Increased Efficiency - aka empowering people towards more productive work - doing more with less.
"Brian, tell me, how are you going to do that?" you ask!
I'll prove it out describing success we've had using technology on the pages of this site, on my blog and potentially one-on-one over a cup of coffee.
My contact info is here, please let me know how I can help you do more with less.
One final thought, when the economy rebounds, are you going to be ready for the demands on your business? Is your infrastructure and application going to you to emerge successfully and lead your market?
